Rooftop Event Venue Hire
The Demanali rooftop holds 180 people standing or 110 seated, with the Brisbane skyline on three sides and the river below. We run corporate launches, weddings, milestone birthdays and product nights. You get the whole level, the bar, the kitchen and the staff for the duration.
One Level, Yours for the Night
The rooftop sits on level nine, reached by its own lift so your guests never walk through the hotel lobby. There's an indoor room for 70 seated, a covered terrace for another 40 and an open-air deck that takes the rest. Weather in Brisbane is usually kind, but the covered section means a sudden shower doesn't end the night.
The bar is built in, with eight taps, two fridges and a spirit rail. Our kitchen can cater on site, or we can bring in an external caterer you already trust, as long as they're licensed and insured. Sound is capped at midnight on weeknights and 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.

The deck faces north toward the river with the Story Bridge to the east and the CBD towers to the west. Sunset hits the terrace around 6pm for most of the year.
Nine Seasons of Rooftop Events
We've hosted product launches for software firms, three hundred weddings and a long line of birthday dinners that went well past midnight. Our events lead has run the space since it opened and knows what breaks when the guest list doubles.
The Rooftop Opens
We converted the old plant room and a section of the roof into a proper event level. First booking was a software launch for 140 people in March.
Kitchen and Bar Rebuild
The bar went from temporary trestle tables to a permanent build with eight taps and proper refrigeration. Catering moved in-house the same year.
Retractable Roof Over the Terrace
We added a motorised roof over the covered terrace so rain no longer forces a last-minute reshuffle. The open deck stays open to the sky all year.
Full Rooftop Buyout
All three zones, private lift, bar staffed by us and the kitchen running whichever menu you pick. Set-up from 10am, guests from 5pm, last drinks at close. Includes a dedicated event manager for the whole night.
Event Packages and Hire Rates
Rates cover the space, furniture, staff and basic AV. Food and drink are priced separately unless you pick a package. Bond is $1,500 and comes back after the venue is checked.
For stand-up drinks, launches and small celebrations. You get the deck and covered terrace, with the indoor room closed off and locked.

How We Run an Event
One contact from the first email to the final invoice. Nothing is outsourced, so you're not chasing three different suppliers the week before.
Tell Us the Basics
Date, rough guest count and the kind of night you're after. A two-line email is enough to get started, and we'll say straight away if the date is free.
Site Walkthrough
Come up to level nine and see the space empty. We'll point out where the bar goes, where the dance floor sits and how the light works at your start time.
Written Quote
You get a breakdown of hire, catering, bar, AV and bond. No hidden line items and no fee that appears later for staff you didn't know you were paying for.
Deposit and Date Lock
A 30 percent deposit holds the date. The balance is due seven days before the event, along with the final headcount that catering needs to plan.
Run Sheet Review
Two weeks out, our events manager walks through your timeline: arrival drinks, speeches, meal service and music cut-off. We flag anything that won't fit.
Set-Up Day
The team builds the room from 10am on the day. Suppliers drop off equipment in the morning, and you get access for your own styling from midday.

Shot on a quiet weekday afternoon and again during a real event, so you can see the space both empty and full.
